The Beginning of VirtuBots
For the past couple of years, the owner (Mike) has been living without a gaming website of his own, since he sold his previous online game to someone else. He did this since he was starting to get tired of the hassles with the web game, which spawned from the heavy updates that he needed to make daily to the website, how it affected his social life, and that the programming on the web game was pretty bad and needed to be redone. He decided to get out of this web game and start to get better with his social life. When Mike sold and left his previous web game, the website fell apart and deteriorated without updates from the new owner. Mike asked the buyer if he would be making updates to the game after he left, and he said yes. That is completely untrue and there hasn't been a single update on the site since Mike was last there. This made Mike depressed months later, looking at the website in the state that he left it.
The avid members of that site had left and had forgotten about that website. Mike had several thousand visitors to that website that would play the game on a regular basis. This is something that Mike had liked to see, a huge list of members who would play what he had programmed on a regular basis and enjoyed. After Mike sold that site and left, he felt useless and felt really depressed.
He had felt this way until now. He wanted to start a new game (or buy his old game back) to fix what he had done. The owner of his old site had turned down his offer on him buying the site back, so he had to do the second option - start a new game. Mike's old game was a virtual pet site, amongst a small list of others that were around at the time when Mike was with his site. There are a lot of new virtual pet websites now, overpopulating the internet presently. Mike knew how to do this type of game quite well, due to his several years of experience with programming his previous game. It took him some time before he thought of what would be along the similar lines of a virtual pet site, but have differences. Then it hit him when one of Mike's friends suggested one thing - a Virtual Robot Website. This is quite unlike pet sites since there are NO pets involved. Instead, there are Robots. This area of the Internet has NOT been explored into quite well (only 2 other games existed and weren't very good). If new websites pop up on the internet that follow along the same lines of this website, then they are essentially copying what we had done because those 2 games are quite unlike what we are, and haven't been updated in ages.
Mike now regrets selling his old web game, and had even once offered the present owner to buy it back. His offer was turned down, and he wasn't completely surprised. A lot of the aspects of this website follows what his old website looks like because of his style of making things work (for instance, some design elements may look similar), although it is not entirely copied. The programming from both websites is completely different, with this website being better than his old website.

Dates To Remember
These are very important dates to
VirtuBots's history, and should be remembered. These dates are as follows :
- June 21st, 2006 - Thoughts and ideas were being gathered for VirtuBots and production started.
- ---- --, 200- - VirtuBots officially opens to the public and is ready to be used by normal members. Any dates before this are where selected members have been chosen to register and to see the very early stages of VirtuBots being made.
